| In consideration of the rapidly growing computerization and globalization
of society, and moreover the prospect of an aging society in the near future,
this course is for the purpose of acquiring useful skills to improve the
quality of life. |
| ■Curricula | |
| 1. To acquire practical skills for administering elder and child care in
local communities through some kinds of hands-on training in addition to in-class lectures. |

| 2. To participate in a variery of lectures by experts in each field, for
example, local cuisine lecture, welfare lecture, sign language and Braille learning, table manners and flower arrangement learning. |

| 3. To foster self-reliance and leadership through home economics seminar
activities such as food service in Welcoming Ceremony, exhibition in Cultural Festival, voluntary activities in local communities, participation in town events. |
